The Role:
We are looking for Newly Qualified Social Workers to start their ASYE in September 2022 (earlier start dates can be agreed) to complete the ASYE program for;
*Safeguarding and Family Support Service
*Children in Care, including a post in the Special Guardianship Team
*Youth Offending Service
*16 Plus Service

Regardless of which post you are interested in, we will ensure you are exposed to a wide range of cases where you can apply and develop your theory, knowledge and experience.
You will be required to hear the voice of the child or young person, assess family strengths and identify support needs and safety plans with partner agencies to ensure the right support is put in place to enable our children and young people to achieve good outcomes.
You will gain proficiency in working with children in need, at child protection level and as a corporate parent, developing strong threshold application, assessment and direct work skills.
You will be required to complete a portfolio of evidence following Skills for Care and Southwark ASYE guidelines and evidenced by practice including direct observations, critical reflection logs, learning and development plans, attendance at workshops and mandatory training
