About the Role:
An exciting opportunity has arisen in the Council’s Stronger Neighbourhoods Division. Your role will be to support the Council’s new Neighbourhoods agenda.
To put the thriving neighbourhoods agenda into practice, the Neighbourhood Coordinator will work closely with residents, members, partners and council services to bring about positive changes within neighbourhoods, and foster participation and engagement amongst key stakeholders.
The neighbourhood coordinator will be solutions-focused and have an approach to solving issues with local residents and partners, and ensure that at a neighbourhood level, council services, from environment to community safety, are aligned to local priorities.

About You:
You’ll need:
- experience of community development work and project management
- experience of using various engagement tools including social and digital media
- experience of negotiating with a wide range of stakeholders
- the ability to gather data, undertake analysis and present findings
- to be available for occasional weekend and evening work.
