What You'll Be Doing

Southwark Leisure is looking for an enthusiastic Membership Advisor to be the welcoming face of our leisure centres. You’ll play a key role in helping us build a loyal and satisfied membership base by delivering outstanding service, supporting sales strategies, and guiding our customers on their fitness journeys.

To work as part of a team to ensure members and visitors are welcomed, and their needs understood in a warm, friendly and professional manner

What You’ll Do:

  • Deliver a warm and professional welcome to all members and visitors
  • Work collaboratively with your team and Centre Membership Manager to hit sales and retention targets
  • Drive leads and memberships through planned marketing and outreach
  • Provide knowledgeable answers to customer questions and resolve any issues efficiently
  • Use CRM systems to manage the sales journey and forecast outcomes
  • Promote centre offers, activities and events to the community

What You’ll Need:

  • Level 2 qualification in Sales or Customer Service (or equivalent)
  • At least 6 months experience in a customer-facing sales role
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
  • A flexible and proactive approach to work – including evenings and weekends
  • A genuine passion for health, wellbeing and fitness
