About us

Adoption London South Regional Adoption Agency is a newly formed partnership of 9 local authorities across South London. We recruit adopters and provide a range of adoption services across the communities of London Boroughs of Lambeth; Southwark; Croydon; Lewisham; Wandsworth; Merton; Sutton, Richmond & Kingston

The role

We are looking for an experienced marketing and publicity officer to join our small team to help us recruit more adoptive families for all our children, especially for children of Black and Mixed Ethnicity heritage who are waiting for new families. You will be the first point of contact for people interested in adoption, giving the best response and helping to widen the range of adopters available for children.]

We are looking for someone with a passion for digital marketing and the internet, able to work with all social media platforms including YouTube, and with experience in Search Engine Optimisation and Google Analytics.
The post will be based at London Bridge with lots of travel across the Adopt London South region. You will need excellent communication skills, to work well with people from South London BME communities, and to promote adoption across all channels. We have events scheduled through out the year which you will facilitate and support, including planned evening and occasional weekend work.

This post requires someone with a ‘Can do attitude’ who is used to working on their own initiative with a keen eye for detail. It is a varied role where basic design skills, a creative flair will be useful. There will be opportunities for video production, design projects, writing and editing newsletters, blogs and social media channels.
