The role

The Management Information Officer role currently available in Southwark supports the Children and Families directorate.

You will support services that work with some of our most vulnerable children and families, as well as those that care for them, so you must be a confident data and performance person with a collaborative, open working style.

At a time of reducing budgets, you will work with Service and Team Managers to ensure that performance is owned and understood by all.

Your support will help Children’s Services deliver an outstanding service to the children and families of Southwark.

You will be part of a small team who’s key aim is to be responsible for data quality, performance, and statutory reporting including to Ofsted and DfE.

About you:

We want only the best for Southwark and we are seeking a Management Information Officer with a background in Children’s Social Care.

You will have a good track record of achievement. The successful candidate will be expected to have good data and analytical abilities, along with good leadership, people, and communication skills.

You will work closely with services to understand their needs and help support them deliver departmental and corporate objectives.
