The Role
An opportunity has arisen for recruitment to the post of Library Manager for the Canada Water area. This post is responsible for all aspects of the day to day running of Canada Water Library and overseeing the operational delivery of three other libraries in the area. We are looking for a motivated and committed individual to help develop and deliver efficient and effective library services to all of the community in the Canada Water area. As a member of the libraries management team, this post contributes towards the planning process to develop the library service so that it can respond to and support corporate, regional and national priorities.
The role includes working as part of the library management team to deliver on key strategic library objectives. Experience of managing staff and services and working strategically in a customer-focused environment is essential.

We’re looking for a confident and skilled person who can provide leadership, initiative and ideas, with an ability to foster partnership working, preferably with some experience of managing the delivery of library services to a diverse community.
