The role

As a Lettings Officer, you’ll be at the heart of our mission and playing a crucial role in managing our portfolio of garages and non-residential properties.

Your mission:

  • Delivery with precision: You'll play a crucial role within Exchequer Services, providing a high-quality, customer-focused service to our residents, utilising your exceptional organisational and time management skills to prioritise tasks.
  • Budget Savvy: Your efforts will not only enhance the experience for our customers but also safeguard the financial health of the Council by managing budgets effectively and ensuring value for money.
  • Advisory Guidance: You’ll be the face of Southwark Council for new tenancy applicants, guiding them through the process of securing their units, ensuring all documentation is meticulously verified, and providing accurate payment information to maximize income.
  • Articulation Success: Your role is key in maintaining clear, regular communication with clients on our waiting list, ensuring they are always informed and up to date.
  • Multi-tasking maestro: Take ownership of managing your own portfolio and individual targets whilst supporting the wider team.

  • This role offers requires the flexibility of travelling across various site across the Borough.
