The Role

As a Junior Project Manager, you'll have the opportunity to manage and deliver small to medium-sized technology transformational projects that make a difference. You'll support complex, organisational redesign initiatives and lead multi-disciplinary teams to bring about positive organisational and cultural change across the council.

Key Responsibilities

  • As a Junior Project Manager, you'll be at the forefront of delivering our technology and digital transformation across Southwark Council.
  • In this role, you'll work closely with both internal and external suppliers, ensuring that projects are delivered within budget, quality, and scope.
  • You'll be responsible for project reporting and the production of all project-related documents, playing a key role in the successful delivery of a range of complex projects.
  • You'll be the go-to expert, lending your technical prowess to support departmental projects and transformational change initiatives.
  • Create and implement project management systems, controls and procedures in accordance with good practice.
  • Be wholly responsible for project budgets, ensuring projects remain within budget.

  • This role offers flexible home working blended with travel into our London Bridge HQ.
