The role
In this exciting role you will assist in the provision of a comprehensive and effective access to records service to service users who request access to personal data or information.
You will provide high quality support in delivering the management of Freedom of Information (FOI) requests, Data Protection Act (DPA) information access requests, and similar statutory disclosures at departmental level. You will also manage a small caseload, responding to requests in a timely and cost effective manner, in line with the needs of the service, and the relevant legislation. You will also champion data protection compliance across the department.
The requirements
You should also have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to be tactful and diplomatic. If you have some experience in a similar role and have a positive and proactive attitude with the ability to work on your own initiative, this may be the role for you.
