The Role

We are recruiting for an Information and Tracking Officer to oversee our data so that we have robust data that ensures all children and young people access suitable alternative education provision. You will provide business and client intelligence to drive the work of Southwark Virtual School in a modern and efficient way.

The Team

The Alternative Provision team sits within the Southwark Virtual School and commissions’ education for children who cannot attend school due to reasons of illness, exclusion or other circumstances. We are a team driven to ensure that all children have access to the best possible education regardless of their circumstance. We monitor and review alternative education provision so that it meets children and young peoples needs and prepares them for the next stage in their education journey.

About You

You will have intermediate to advanced experience of Microsoft Excel, be a confident communicator with strong organisational and report writing skills.

Your focus in this role is to collect and produce accurate and current education data on all children and young people accessing alternative provision. You will provide daily attendance monitoring working with a range of education providers, collate and analyse educational performance data, make referrals and ensure that all invoices received are accurate and paid in a timely manner.
