The role
We are looking to recruit a HR Adviser to join us, as we continue on our journey of growth as a team.
The HR Adviser is responsible for providing advice on HR policies and procedures. Other key responsibilities include supporting managers with employee relation cases and change projects, attending meetings, notetaking and producing outcome letters. Additionally, the HR Adviser will carry out HR audits in our schools, to ensure they are compliant with HR best practice, as well as safeguarding requirements. From time to time, the HR Adviser will also support the Head of Schools’ HR and the Business Partners with HR projects as required.
About you:
You will need to be experienced HR Adviser who is CIPD qualified (or equivalent). You will have strong generalist HR experience and have previous experience of managing your own cases. Ideally, you will have experience of working in unionised organisations.

Southwark Schools Human Resources is an established service, providing a traded HR service to schools in Southwark. Our schools value our support and input and because we are part of the Education service, we are able to contribute to supporting school improvement outcomes for our children in Southwark.
