The role:
The Housing Solutions Manager provides strategic leadership with managing homelessness demand in partnership with a range of stakeholders, multi-disciplinary leads and other interested parties.
It requires an in-depth knowledge of homelessness legislation and a passion for providing quality customer services often to some of the most vulnerable residents in the borough.
About you:
You will have the ability to strategically co-ordinate and integrate the housing options and homelessness process for the benefit of customers by promoting channel shift and digital case management to promote new ways of working in light of Covid 19 and ensuring the service is Fit for the Future.
You will display leadership expertise to drive change and prevent and relieve homelessness through a range of skills such as visionary thinking, relationship-building, budget management, exploring new pathways and executing decisions with an evidence-based approach.

The role is being offered as a fixed term contract/ secondment for 9 months, with the possibility of being extended.
