The Role:
To manage the design, delivery, management and maintenance of highways infrastructure services or projects, and to co-ordinate officers and contractors to deliver them effectively and efficiently in accordance with Council’s policies and best professional practice and legislation and within the required time cost and quality constraints. To oversee reactive maintenance and winter maintenance regimes.
The post is located in the Highways Division and the postholder reports to the Engineering Services Manager .Highways division is part of the Council’s Environment, Neighbourhoods and Growth Directorate and acts as Highway Authority

About You
Minimum qualification of HNC or HND in Engineering or equivalent experience.
Experience of supervising in a term contract.
Experience of supervising responsive maintenance regimes
Delivering works and projects in accordance with CDM 2015 regulations
Delivering projects in accordance with good project management principles of using Microsoft Office software including Word, Excel and Outlook
