The role
The post is an integral part of the Highways Division management team and will regularly advise Councillors and officers from all areas of the Council.
The successful candidate will lead and manage a team of seventeen officers providing the full range of highway maintenance services including the inspection and minor repairs of road and footway defects across all 340km of highway network, all structures major and minor works, flooding and drainage works, and winter maintenance. Plus leading the asset management function and providing technical guidance to the rest of the Highways Division.
Additional salary details
This is a permanent position with a salary range of £51,663 - £64,725 plus an additional JNC financial benefits package to the value of £2,724 per annum (pro-rata April to March and reviewed annually).
