The role
Southwark SEND Team are looking to appoint a Head of Service to strategically lead the Sensory Needs Service to ensure that the Council achieves its strategic aims for pupils with assessed sensory needs within the legislative framework.
The Head of the Sensory Needs Service will provide strategic leadership for peripatetic services for children with sensory impairment across the Borough, promoting & supporting positive outcomes for children and young people with sensory impairment; taking a lead role in promoting inclusive education of children with sensory impairment.
The successful applicant will be a member of the SEND Senior Management Team and contribute to the raising of attainment for all Children & Young People in Southwark schools, Colleges and settings through inclusive education.

Additional salary details
The salary range is Soulbury 20 – 23 (£56,670 – £62,158) plus Inner London Allowance
