The role:
Southwark is recruiting a new role of Head of Performance and Delivery to lead a range of core business services in its Environment, Neighbourhoods and Growth department.
As well as environmental services, and planning and growth, the department delivers many highly visible services that our residents value and contribute to the quality of their lives from leisure, culture and parks, to improving safety and tackling climate change. We are looking for someone to be at the heart of these services, working across the department, managing all aspectsof business planning and performance of the department by supporting excellent standards of governance and all aspects of decision making. You will oversee business planning, performance, customer service standards, risk management and corporate liaison, and inspireteams to drive performance and service improvement across the department.
About you:
This role is critical to support business improvement through performance management and data analytics. It will deliver excellent customer service standards and effectively manage information flow through processes such as FOI requests and complaints to help proactively drive service improvement. You will manage the day-to-day coordination and support needed for the department to operate while planning for the future, and constantly striving to improve services for Southwark and its residents.
