The role:

Southwark is recruiting a new role of Head of Performance and Delivery to lead a range of core business services in its Environment and Leisure department. 

As well as environmental services and leisure, the department delivers many key services that our residents value from culture and parks, to improving safety and tackling climate change. We are looking for someone to be at the heart of these services, managing the business of the department by supporting excellent standards of governance and all aspects of decision making. You will oversee business planning, risk management and corporate liaison, and inspire a team to drive performance and service improvement. 

About you:

This role is critical to support business improvement through performance management and data analytics.  It will deliver excellent customer service standards and effectively manage information flow through processes such as FOI requests and complaints to help proactively drive service improvement. You will manage the day-to-day coordination and support needed for the department to operate while planning for the future, and constantly striving to improve services for Southwark and its residents.

Additional salary details

This post attracts an additional JNC financial benefits package £2,724  per annum, pro-rata (April-March).
