Our Leisure Service is looking for passionate and dedicated Fitness Professionals to join our amazing team and help make a difference today.
About the Role:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused Fitness Professional to support the delivery of a high-quality fitness service. Reporting to the Centre Fitness Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the gym operates smoothly while supporting customers to achieve their health and fitness goals.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting the day-to-day operation of the gym
- Supervising gym users to maintain a safe environment
- Delivering 1-2-1 gym appointments and leading gym floor classes
- Creating tailored training plans, including fitness assessments and lifestyle advice
- Completing cleaning and maintenance schedules, reporting faults promptly
- Providing a professional, friendly, and high-quality customer experience at all times
You will contribute to improving health outcomes and reducing inequalities across the borough by promoting active lifestyles.
About You:
We are looking for a motivated, positive, and proactive individual who is passionate about fitness and customer service.
You will have:
- A minimum Level 2 Fitness Qualification and a CIMSPA/REPs Level 3 qualification
- Experience working in a customer-facing environment
- A proven ability to deliver excellent customer care
- Experience in designing and delivering fitness programmes for clients/members
- Strong communication skills and the ability to motivate others
- A genuine passion for health, wellbeing, and supporting diverse communities
