The Role:

The Fire Safety Team is the council’s in-house service for ensuring the council meets its legal obligations in accordance with the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005. We are responsible for undertaking fire risk assessments for just under 4000 assets in the borough and this portfolio is continuously growing as the council develops more homes for residents.

As a valued member of the team, you will be working in a busy environment that is often fast-paced. This will involve managing the handoff of compliance actions, monitoring the completion of actions within the prescribed timeframe, keeping the Apex database up-to-date, analysing data from fire risk assessments, liaising with various internal bodies such as Major Works, Right to Buy, Building Control and Planning as well as external bodies such as the London Fire Brigade.

About You:

- Have a good standard of English.

- Have an ability to work collaboratively as part of the Fire Safety Team.

- Deliver the highest service standards expected by residents.

- Manage queries/ complaints in a timely manner.

- Have an ability to work under pressure.
