The Role:

Are you committed to improving the lives of Southwark children and families?

If so, an exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Safeguarding & Family Support Service to work as part of an integrated team to promote the well-being, social and emotional development, achievement, positive behaviour and safety for children and young people.

About You

- You should be committed to working with vulnerable children, young people and their caregivers.

-You will be working closely with social workers using integrated tools and processes (Assessment Framework, Team Around the Child/Family) to support families with a variety of needs, providing advice, practical support and guidance to achieve positive outcomes for families.

-You will use a range of professional skills, including consultation, assessment, intervention planning, delivery and review to co-ordinate support, empower parents and facilitate key transitions for children and families.

-You will be a team player with excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills and be able to maintain accurate records and reports to quality standards.
