**Join Our Team as an Extra Care Housing Officer!**

Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of older, vulnerable residents? We are looking for a dedicated Extra Care Housing Officer to join our team and deliver exceptional housing management services in our extra care schemes.

 

**Key Responsibilities:**

 

🌟 **Customer-Focused Service:** Deliver an efficient, responsive, and sensitive housing management service, focusing on continually improving satisfaction for our residents.

 

🌟 **Partnership and Coordination:** Maximise opportunities to co-ordinate and collaborate with key partners and stakeholders to enhance the quality of our services.

 

🌟 **Health and Safety:** Regularly monitor the health and safety of residents, ensuring all potential risks are minimised or removed.

 

🌟 **Tenancy Management:**

- Provide tenancy management services within the framework of the tenancy agreement and relevant housing procedures.

- Maintain tenancy conditions and assist in the preparation of tenancy agreements and information packs.

- Lead the lettings process for new residents and manage tenancy terminations.

 

🌟 **Enforcement and Resolution:**

- Deal with the enforcement of tenancy conditions within extra care schemes according to council procedures.

- Ensure the resolution of any anti-social behaviour.

 

🌟 **Building Maintenance:**

- Monitor and inspect the building to ensure the scheme is maintained in good condition, including communal areas.

- Take residents' needs into account for planned maintenance.

 

🌟 **Safe Environment:** Work collaboratively with tenants, colleagues, and relevant agencies to enable all residents to live in a safe and secure environment across extra care or sheltered housing schemes.

 

**Requirements:**

- Passion for supporting older, vulnerable residents

- Enhanced DBS required
