Southwark repairs is changing. We’re really passionate about modernising and adapting the way we work so that we can offer the best possible service to everyone who lives in one of our 55,000 properties. We want to be fit for the future in a flexible service which meets our resident’s needs. By collaborating with our team and our residents including them and building our services around what they think and listening to what people are telling us about the service we’re providing.

Working in a busy environment where no two days are the same, the role will also offer a rewarding career progression and training opportunities. Our team of operatives are at the heart of what we do, working across the borough everyday delivery quality cost effective repairs, making recommendations for additional works and having honest and open chats with our residents to continue to build a reputation for quality alongside customer service that exceeds expectations.        

About You:

We’re looking for people to join our team who have completed a City & Guilds 2361 Part 1 and 2 and Level 2 and 3 and City & Guilds 2391 Inspection and Testing.

Whilst we want you to do what’s needed to get the job done for our residents you’ll also need to work well to procedures and be happy with new and changing technologies. Health and safety is really important to us and our residents so we’ll need you to be up to date on the current legislation and ways of working and be keen to keep learning through best practice and continuing development. You’ll also need a full UK driving license.
