The Role:
Providing electrical support to the electrical contract manager, this is a high-profile customer-focused role that must produce results that are right the first time.
The works will in the main involve inspections, report reviews and authorising works to domestic dwellings, where contractors have undertaken Domestic Electrical Installation Condition Reports and the rectification of observations made in order to make the Electrical Installations Satisfactory. Sound knowledge of Electrical Safety First and its best practice guidance 4 is also required.
About You:
You will need to be conversant with the below BS Standards:-
- BS 7671:2018 Amendment 2 - Requirements for Electrical Installations, IET Wiring Regulations 18th Edition
- BS 5839-6:2019 Fire detection and fire alarm systems for buildings
- You must also have experience in the electrical industry having served an industry-recognised apprenticeship such as that recognised via the JIB.
- You will also need to be customer focused dealing with complaints, correspondence, raising works orders, updating technical da and bases, collating all reports, certificates, and documents for completed properties.
Additional Information:
- Standard 36 hours Monday – Friday
- This is a x2 Fixed Term Contract position for 3 years
- Standard DBS check is required
