Providing contract management support to the compliance electrical manager, this is a high profile, customer focused role that must produce results that are right the first time.
The Role:
This post is for experienced electrical engineers with a sound knowledge of electrical installations, leaseholder consultation, and a history of Contract management with the ability to work on their own or as part of a team. The post will require attendance at residents’ meetings (where requested) and liaison with the various Statutory Authorities.
The Electrical Contract Manager will be expected to fully manage the Domestic Electrical Installation Condition Report contracts, hold progress meetings, manage performance and ensure Key performance targets are met. They will be responsible for maintaining the budgets and complying with all H&S requirements. They shall also be responsible for checking all certifications and ensuring compliance is achieved
About You:
You will need to be conversant with the below BS Standards:-
- BS 7671:2018 Amendment 2 - Requirements for Electrical Installations, IET Wiring Regulations 18th Edition
- BS 5839-6:2019 Fire detection and fire alarm systems for buildings.
- You must have experience in the electrical industry and working in a Social Housing environment and the challenges this brings.
- You will also need to be customer focused dealing with complaints, correspondence, raising works orders, updating technical databases, and collating all reports , certificates and documents for completed properties.
Additional Information:
- Standard 36 hours Monday - Friday
- This is a Fixed Term Contract position for 3 years
- Standard DBS check is required
