Southwark: Educational Psychologist
Soulbury Salary Scale A3-8 plus up to 3 SPA points and Inner London Allowance.
Permanent and fixed-term posts are available. Full-time, part-time and flexible working arrangements are on offer to successful candidates. Applications are invited from fully qualified EPs and TEPS completing in 2020 and 2021.
Southwark’s Educational Psychology Service is committed to improving life chances. If appointed you will deliver evidence-informed, high quality psychological services to children, young people and families. You will work closely with schools, early years and further education settings, to ensure that interventions are delivered to high standards for maximum impact. The Requirements
We are looking for enthusiastic and collaborative educational psychologists with a background in applying psychology to meet the needs of vulnerable children and young people. This will have equipped you with strong skills in psychological consultation, assessment, intervention, research, team working and the delivery of training.
Good communication skills, knowledge of appropriate legislation, guidance and policies and the ability to balance an unpredictable workload will be essential.
