The Role
We are looking for a Duty Support Officer to join the Learning Disability Service in Adult Social Care.
The Duty Support Officer will provide effective and efficient business support across the service so that frontline staff can concentrate on delivering the core business function.
The main administrative tasks of this role include answering incoming phone calls, and responding to emails and dealing with enquiries from service users, families and service providers. Updating service users files and information as needed.
A working understanding of Data Protection and GDPR is required for this roles due to confidentiality requirements around service users personal data.
This is a 5 days a week office based role.

About our Team:
The Learning Disabilities service supports adults aged 25+ with a disability and eligible social care needs. The Team makeup includes team managers, social workers, assistant practitioners and business support officers. The Team works closely with our health and education colleagues as well as the third sector and care providers.
About You:
The successful applicant would have substantial experience within an administrative role with a good working knowledge of different computer systems. Knowledge and experience of working with financial data would be highly beneficial. Also, an understanding of disabilities; including autism and learning disabilities, as well as the adult social care sector would be beneficial.
