The role
This is an exciting secondment opportunity for a qualified/part qualified accountant to lead a small, high-performing finance team in Exchequer Services.
Reporting to the Head of Support Services, you will be responsible for the delivery of high-quality financial advice for the Director of Exchequer and budget holders. You will be proactive in providing comprehensive support and advice to all levels of management, including budget planning, forecasting, year-end closedown, audits both internal and external, and project support.
To be considered you will need to be a qualified accountant or working towards a qualification or have relevant experience at a professional level. You will be able to demonstrate excellent management skills, strong communication, and presentation skills, and the ability to communicate complex financial information in an understandable way is key to the role.
