We are offering an exciting 9 month ‘acting up’ opportunity for a senior colleague with ambitions to move into a Director role.

About the role:

We’re looking for an exceptional candidate to join our leadership team and play a key role in the delivery of Southwark 2030 goals and the Partnership Southwark Health and Care Plan.

As the Director of Integrated Commissioning, you will lead the development of our Integrated Health and Care Commissioning team, focusing on delivering high quality and effective services for both children and adults.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Strengthen existing relationships to ensure efficient service delivery.
  • Leading the team responsible for managing social care, health and public health commissioning functions.
  • Delivering the strategic goals of Southwark 2030 and the Health and Care Plan.
  • Providing strong political and managerial leadership to achieve the best outcomes for our residents.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A solid track record in delivering results, with extensive experience in care and health services.
  • Expertise or transferable skills in leading social care, health, and public health functions.
  • Exceptional drive, resilience and a commitment to achieving outstanding outcomes.
  • Strong leadership abilities and the capacity to build strong and productive relationships with partner agencies.
