About Southwark:
We are the largest local authority social landlord in London, managing 55,000 homes lived in by 40% of Southwark’s residents. We are home to over 18,300 businesses including iconic London venues and social enterprises. We have a young, diverse and growing population. And we stand together.
The Role:
We’re looking for a creative and inspiring communications, engagement and change leader to help us deliver our Southwark 2030 ambitions for the borough. You will lead and work alongside our community and staff, empowering them to drive the change we want to see in the borough.
You will help us tell meaningful stories and make an impact on a local, regional and national scale, while developing innovative, thought-provoking campaigns, and leading first-class resident engagement – all with the aim of supporting the council to become people powered, close the gap and help our neighbourhoods thrive.
This is a fantastic opportunity to lead change and collaboration across a large, and proudly diverse, inner London borough.
