The role:
The Digital Transformation Manager role is to work on delivering our digital change programme. This role will involve user research, monitoring, partnership working and working with consultants as well as working with the planning and digital teams at the council. A significant part of this role is to lead as part of a partnership to build a new front end and back office system for planning as part of a national project being led by DHLUC. You will be trialling out new digital technology to make decisions on how to develop the new tools. Suitable candidates should be able to demonstrate knowledge and experience of digital transformation particularly an understanding of how the technology can be used to transform services.
About you:
We are looking for a transformation manager with digital skills to work on transforming the planning service in Southwark Council. alongside the planning digital team leader. These are some of the things we look for.
You will be an experienced, enthusiastic and motivated person with good digital, agile, ICT, oral and written communication skills. You will have experience of engaging with a range of customers and demonstrate good team work ethics.
