Digital Planner – Join Our Innovative Digital Transformation Team

Are you passionate about improving planning systems through digital transformation? Do you have a strong understanding of planning applications and a desire to make processes more efficient and user-friendly? We’re looking for a Digital Planner to help us deliver cutting-edge, government-funded digital planning application systems.

The Role: As a Digital Planner, you will play a key role in delivering innovative digital systems that streamline planning processes and improve the user experience. You will:

  • Identify service improvements, build and test new application features.
  • Lead the roll-out of digital planning systems across the council.
  • Collaborate with other councils to share insights and successes.
  • Monitor system performance, ensuring continuous improvement.
  • Coordinate input from multiple teams to develop efficient, data-driven processes.
  • Champion the move to digital, working closely with stakeholders to promote and embed new technologies.

About You:

  • Experience: You have a proven track record in managing planning applications and a strong understanding of planning processes.
  • Skills: You’re confident in contributing your planning expertise to digital projects, and may have experience in project management.
  • Communication: You excel at working with multiple stakeholders and promoting digital ways of working across departments.
  • Drive for Innovation: You’re enthusiastic about using data and technology to improve services and make processes more efficient.
