The Role:

The Digital Transformation team is looking for a Digital Planner. This role is an opportunity to be involved in delivering an exciting, government funded digital application system. Data and information are the centre of the planning system, this is leading to the development of a new back office system for planning application.

These systems are being created by putting the user first and involving best practice. This aims to create a better service for both users accessing the system and planning officers working on the cases.

The Digital Transformation team are championing the change to digital processes across the department. This includes the development to internal processes, producing data-driven analysis, monitoring and reports that provide insight and evidence

About you:

The successful candidate will have a track record in dealing with a challenging caseload of planning applications. They will be confident in their planning knowledge and be able to contribute their expertise to the delivery of the project.

You will also be able to work in an agile way and have some experience of project management. Good communication skills will be demonstrated by working across the
council.
