The Digital Change & Innovation Manager provides strategic digital transformation advice, guidance and challenge to senior management across council departments and acts as the voice of the business within IT & Digital Services.  The post holder supports the business in designing and creating digital solutions to achieve its objectives.  This is through an effective mix of people, process and technology as well as the adoption of a ‘digital by default’ approach to transform Council services.

They will lead complex digital and technology projects and effectively manage multi-disciplinary and multiple project teams to deliver change across the council.  These projects will impact on the future operating model of services across the business for the next five years and beyond and be a key part of delivering the Modernisation agenda.

The post holder reports to the Head of Digital Delivery.  

Additional salary details

This post attracts a cash benefit to the value of £2,724 pro-rata (subject to annual review)

Fixed term/ secondment (maternity cover) up to 15 months
