The role:
The Community Review Team provide a reviewing service for older people and adults with physical disabilities who are currently in receipt of care and support services. Practitioners’ in the team complete strength based assessments and work in partnership with our residents to maximise their independence and promote their wellbeing. We are an integrated service made up of both Social Workers and Occupational therapy. The role of Deputy Team Manager is pivotal within our operational services and reflects our commitment to providing high quality services and improving outcomes for our residents whilst working closely with our partner agencies.
About You:
We are looking for qualified candidates with Social Work England registration and experience of managing and supervising staff. The ideal candidate will work in a strength-based way and will demonstrate the ability to provide comprehensive casework advice and take responsibility for staff practice and performance, while ensuring appropriate use of resources. Candidates will be expected to deputise for Team Managers in their absence, will have experience as a Safeguarding Adults Manager, will contribute to the ongoing recruitment, development and retention of staff.
You will be forward thinking, enthusiastic and will take a proactive role in developing and improving the service. Candidates must have strong reflective supervision skills and the ability to provide comprehensive and knowledgeable support within a high-pressure environment.
