The Role:
An exciting opportunity has arisen in the No Recourse to Public Funds (NRPF) team for those committed to making Southwark a safer and healthier place to live, work and visit.
You will be based in Southwark Council’s No Recourse to Public Funds (NRPF) team, and reporting to the NRPF Manager, the NRPF Deputy Team Leader will be responsible for the provision of a comprehensive and effective social work team in accordance with current legislation, council policy and best practice.
The ideal candidate will be required to provide accurate information and advice to a wide audience of people including service users, internal and external stakeholders, immigration services and medical and legal professionals. Particularly when overseeing Duty Manager intake & triage of referrals
To be responsible for the procedures for and oversight of assessment of potential service users for eligibility and signposting those who are found not eligible for NRPF support to the appropriate organisations for assistance.

This post is fixed term for 11 months.
