SECONDMENT OPPORTUNITY
Southwark Council’s Governance & Assurance directorate is recruiting a Departmental Southwark Stands Together Workforce Project Manager. This role is available on a full-time basis (1.0 FTE) as a 12 month secondment.
This role is part of a wider team that is responsible for supporting council departments to achieve the aims of the workforce strand of Southwark Stands Together. The aim of departmental projects is to have significant long term impact on the existing and future employees within the department by changing the culture and tackling racial inequality.
The post holder will be responsible for managing and delivering multiple projects simultaneously across the department to achieve the Departments goals under SST.
The successful candidate will ensure appropriate delivery and engagement across all areas of the department, supporting staff and managers to adapt to various change initiatives.
About you:
We are looking for someone who is passionate about supporting Southwark’s Southwark Stands Together (SST) programme and has the skills and ability to use a range of project management techniques.
You will be a natural collaborator and accustomed to working with colleagues to deliver change. Through your career you will have shown how you have made a real impact working effectively with colleagues and stakeholders.

The role is Grade 10 and available on a full time (1.0 FTE) basis as a 12 month secondment. For the time you are seconded into this role, you will be part of the SST team based in HR and Organisational Development.
