The Role

Southwark Council are please to recruit for their next star Apprentices.
The Contact Centre help's deliver ‘Award Winning’ excellent customer service which Southwark Councils is renowned for.

Through support, coaching and development, we can help you take the next step in your career by participating in our Customer Service Apprenticeship Programme within our Customer Experience division.


The Role


You’ll be involved in working directly with customers, assisting them to access a wide range of council services at our busy telephone Contact Centre. You will benefit from attending workshops and other training activities to develop your knowledge and skills. We operate in a friendly team environment, so expect to feel like part of the ‘family’ when you attend during our standard working hours of 8.30am to 5:30pm, Monday to Friday.

Our apprenticeship programme, is an 18 month adventure that will help kick start your career in the right direction. Through practical hands on experience, mixed in with workshop based training, you will be equipped to jump-start your career with a nationally recognised qualification from The Chartered Institute of Housing and a wealth of on-the-job experience.

There will be opportunities to work across multiple areas within our division, providing you with valuable exposure and experience to take on the world of Housing and customer experience!

About You


You will need 5 GCSE's at grade A to C or the equivalent including Maths and English, aged over 16. Also be able to work full time and have a passion for learning. Good written and verbal communication skills are also vital.
