The Role:

Garage Services Customer Service Officers work as part of Exchequer Services to provide a high quality, customer focused service to our customers. Ensuring that we maximise income for the Council.

The garages team are responsible for the lettings, management and maintenance, including refurbishments, of the council’s garage portfolio.

This is a varied and interesting role, the purpose of which is to provide a first point of contact for our customers providing excellent customer service when providing information. Assisting and supporting the rest of the team with all aspects of their work including maintaining the teams in-box, administering the waiting list ensuring that new applicants are added within agreed timescales, contacting customers to arrange viewings and raising works orders and liaising with contractors as necessary

About You:

You will need:

Evidence of a strong customer focus and ability to contribute to continuous improvement.

Experience of and ability to work on own initiative and be self-motivated and committed to providing a service to customers.

Ability to prioritise work effectively, to meet deadlines and to deal with conflicting priorities.  Ability to work to set standards and targets.  Effective time management skills
