The Role:
Southwark Repairs is looking for an exceptional candidate to manage our customer relations specifically in relation to fire safety works across the Borough.
The health and safety of our residents is at the forefront of everything we do, this role will co-ordinate our approach to residents when undertaking fire safety works in their home, block or estate.
The role is wide ranging and will involve working with a small, bespoke team ensuring that we undertake fire safety repairs as quickly, safely and seamlessly as possible.
We want residents to know what, when and why fire safety repairs and being undertaken to reassure and build confidence in both the repairs service and our response to evolving fire legislation and approaches.
About You:
The successful candidate will need to have exceptional customer service skills, able to speak to a wide range of the community; offering reassurance and putting sometimes complex technical specifications into plain English.
Co-ordination and administration skills are key to this role to ensure that we keep to our project and repairs timetables and that our residents know when and why to be at home for example for urgent or planned repairs.
Experience of housing and dealing with tenants and homeowners is essential for this role as is working with contractors and a proven history of excellent communications across a range of audiences.
We’re looking for someone who can hit the ground running and make a difference to our residents from day one.
