The Role

Summerhouse is Southwark's provision for primary aged children in need of specialist support to prevent permanent exclusion from their mainstream schools


We are looking for a Creative Arts/Play Specialist who is able to offer either play, art or music therapy sessions according to their own specialism to our primary pupils.

The therapist will be able to draw upon their knowledge, skills and experience of working with children who present challenging behaviour and who have significant and complex social and emotional needs; often stemming from adverse childhood experiences.

The successful candidate will have to be a role model of best Summerhouse practice.
