About the role:
The Pre-Assignment team is an exciting team to work in. We would like to welcome interest to join the team for this vacant role. In this role you will be the first point of contact for new Right to Buy sales following completion. You will be required to close the rent account and carry out various activities in order to create the new service charge account. The post holder will also carry out administrative duties for the team.
• To use specialist knowledge to update the council’s integrated housing database following receipt of all notification of sales including setting up service charge accounts, council re-purchases, sales of the freehold interest and dealing with requests for changes to names and addresses
• To use complex system reports and excel skills to monitor and maintain the information held on the council’s integrated housing system
• To be the main point of contact and manage the administration of all queries relating to online access to the service charge account
• To provide administrative support to the pre-assignment team
• To update and monitor the electronic document management system for the team
• To assist with the delivery of the Council’s modernise objectives within Homeownership Services, including digital and systems transformation, and modern ways of working in accordance with the Council’s business plan
