As a Community Safety Intelligence Analyst, you will play a key role in contributing to understanding the key drivers of crime and disorder in Southwark through the analysis and interpretation of data (quantitative and qualitative), highlighting areas of priority and directing resources.
You will produce analytical products including the statutory Community Safety Partnership Strategic Assessment, which underpins the Community Safety Partnership Plan, setting out the strategic direction of the partnership in future planning and delivery of key priorities.
You will undertake analysis to support the delivery of current key priority areas including the Community Harm and Exploitation Hub; a multiagency team providing comprehensive and bespoke support to individuals and their families who are vulnerable to being exploited and getting involved in gangs, county lines, the drugs market, violence, human trafficking, modern slavery and other forms of exploitation.
You will have experience of using and interpreting data from a range of sources in problem solving complex issues. The ability to ‘think outside the box’ and innovative thinking is an advantage.
You will have the ability to develop effective working relationships with people across a range of partnership agencies. This exciting role will also require the skills of working in a political environment.
