Managing 54,000 council homes, Southwark is a major player in social housing provision. We set the standard many other local authorities follow. You’ll help drive a major new initiative that gives specific responsibility for the maintenance of building exteriors and communal areas to a specialist repairs team.
Working closely with residents and also carrying out estate inspections, you will identify and specify work to be done and manage delivery by contractors . This is a progressive team working within a fast paced enviromnet, so you’ll have plenty of opportunity to make your mark. Your focus will be on customers and excellent value for money.
You’re likely to have a background in housing and a good grounding in customer service or another public-facing role. An understanding of construction and maintenance contracts is essential
