The role
We will only consider applications from internal candidates that are current employees or agency workers on an active assignment.
If you can combine your understanding of landlord and tenant legislation with good spreadsheet skills and a clear writing style, come and help us invoice around £10 million of capital service charges a year.
You will construct and revise the service charges for a large and mixed residential portfolio for capital expenditure, enabling the Council to bill and collect approximately £10 million annually. The role will involve statutory consultation with leaseholders, recognised tenants’ associations, and applicants across a growing portfolio.
You'll come to us with an understanding of the issues affecting a large residential leasehold portfolio in a mixed tenure environment. Your understanding of relevant legislation, including the Landlord and Tenant Act, will compliment the ability to construct and reconcile service charges. A strong eye for detail and a clear understanding of how financial spreadsheets are constructed and reconciled is required. You will have the ability to manage conflicting priorities, work to deadlines as well as advise on varying leasehold issues.
