The Role
Our commissioning division within the Commissioning Children’s, Adults and Families service is looking for a Business Transformation Manager for ICT. This role will deliver the IT system support recommendations for early years, education, social care and youth justice services.
The key duties of this role are to:
- Drive the change management and programme delivery around the implementation endorsed by the IT Systems support Project Board.
- Ensure the programme governance is set up in a way that supports the key project management deliverables and methodology.
- Present stakeholders with issues, options and risks in a non-technical way that enables them to make the best decisions through evidence based recommendations.
- Develop and maintain strong collaborative relationships with the Project Board and stakeholders to ensure a continued mutual understanding of the programmes strategic views.
- Establish project streams, manage projects from initiation to closure: Business case, Project estimation, budget management, formulating delivery strategies, establishing milestones, reporting project status and mitigating or resolving any issues or risks.
About you:
We are looking for:
- Experience of implementing and project managing successful Programmes around IT system support.
- Knowledge of relevant legislation, statutory duties and responsibilities for children’s and adults’ social care, education and youth services.
- Ability to write in depth and complex reports.
- Preferred direct line management experience.

- This post attracts an additional financial JNC benefits package of £3,503 per annum (pro-rata April to March and reviewed annually).
