The Role:
We are looking for a Business Support Team Leader to manage a small team responsible for supporting Southwark Exchequer Services division.
Exchequer Services is responsible for the billing and collection of council tax, business rates, leasehold service charges and rent. Payment and administration of invoicing and the management of the schemes for housing benefits, council tax reduction and Southwark Emergency Support. It is also responsible for the management of payroll and garages.
You will support the service, by managing and leading a group of staff responsible delivering the essential business support function, to the division. Delivering efficient and effective financial support, including assisting in the completion of all statutory accounts. Commissioning and purchasing goods and services within prescribed authorisation limits.
About you:
This role requires someone highly organised and enthusiastic, with strong leadership skills, who has previously worked on projects and has the attitude to influence change amongst their colleagues.
