About the Team:
Due to internal secondment we are pleased to offer this exciting opportunity to join the Parks and Leisure Team. We invite you to bring your experience and enthusiasm to support the council’s work in improving the health and wellbeing of residents through our provision of high quality public open spaces, leisure and sports facilities.

Parks and Leisure has a vacancy for a Business Support Officer to join the team to provide administrative support for a range of service areas such as tree management, capital projects, leisure and parks management.
The Role:
The role is being offered on a 4 month secondment as a learning and development opportunity that would benefit people interested in developing a career in parks and leisure.
Commitment, enthusiasm and initiative will be more important that qualifications, however experience in the following areas would be an advantage:
- Working with business finance and administrative systems.
- Co-ordinating responses to customer enquiries and complaints
- Using a range of software packages to produce presentation material for board meetings and briefings.
