The Role
- To provide a comprehensive support and facilitation service to the Exchequer Services division including the provision of excellent customer service at the initial point of contact for Home Ownership Services, Garages, Housing Income, facilities management and any other services that require support within the division.
- To ensure the smooth running of all back office functions and support the day to day running of services within Exchequer.
- To support the Business Support Team Leader and provide cover when they are absent.
About You:
We are looking for a Business Support Officer to join a small team responsible for supporting Southwark Exchequer Services division.
- You will support the service, by providing the essential Business Support function, to the division.
- You will do this by providing administrative support, recording sensitive data, managing databases and dealing with queries from members of the public.
- Ideally you would have administrative support experience, a good understanding and experience of using basic IT software along with dealing with high quality office management and records systems.
- You will have good communication skills with a proactive approach to resolving issues.
Additional salary details
- 6 month fixed term contract (to cover absence within the team) We will only consider applications from internal candidates that are current employees or agency workers on an active assignment. If you are applying for the fixed-term post, this can be offered on a secondment basis. Please ensure you have prior agreement from your current line manager
- DBS required
