The role
The Role:
As the post holder you will work in Housing Projects and Performance team with the Finance Officer. The team are responsible for shaping and delivering continuous service improvement within the division. The post holder will be required to work with a wide range of stakeholders across the division, department, council and partners, using influencing and negotiation skills in order to drive forward service improvement and change.
About You:
You will be required to assist and support the business unit as appropriate in any duties appropriate with the accountabilities of this role including assisting the Housing Finance Officer and the Housing Projects and Performance Manager in providing accurate financial data for reports to senior management teams as and when required.
You will be required to undertake day-to-day administrative duties within the team, including processing of month-end checks and reconciliations, purchase order checks in SAP, payment of invoices, creating documents, document control and filing, management of emails and other communications using a variety of systems as required.
You need to work using own initiative on assigned projects or work-streams; assessing and resolving issues, in line with policies and procedures, escalating more complex issues where appropriate.
To develop and maintain appropriate relationships with the storage contractor and effectively representing the organisation internally and externally in a professional and appropriate manner, and to provide information to update web pages and other forms of communication.
