The Role
Are you committed to delivering quality outcomes and effectively supporting stakeholders? We're seeking a Business Support Officer to join our Business Support team in the Governance and Assurance department.
Our team provides first-class support to Legal Services, Constitutional Services, HR and Organisational Development, Corporate Facilities Management, and Election Events.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver and develop administrative processes and project support, coordinating responses to inquiries from stakeholders.
- Maintain manual or electronic systems, ensuring data accuracy and reliability. This includes proficiency in specialised IT systems such as bundling software and Sinerix electronic signature, while adeptly responding to and interrogating IT systems to produce appropriate outputs.
- Manage incoming calls, email correspondence, and organising meetings, as well as oversee data management tasks such as scanning, archiving, logging, and distributing data, while actively participating in reviews of business processes and systems to enhance back-office efficiencies.
- Take meeting minutes and follow up on action points.
- Ensure accurate completion of service finance processes in compliance with financial policies and procedures.

About You:
- Previous administration experience and strong IT knowledge, including experience in using Microsoft Office with the ability to produce reports and presentations within Excel and Word.
- Experience in researching, developing, and proposing innovative approaches.
- Highly organised and able to manage time effectively, prioritise work with minimal supervision, and meet deadlines.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Additional Information:
This is a full-time, permanent position.
Please note you will work 4 days from office and 1 day from home.
